1. Age Requirements:
For the Teen division -I will be at least fifteen (15) years of age and under nineteen (19) years of age as of September 1, 2009.
For Miss Florida USA division, on the local level - I will be at least eighteen (18) and under twenty-seven (27) by February 1, 2009.
2. I am not married, have never been married, and have never had a marriage annulled. I have never given birth to a child and am not now pregnant.
4. I am of good fitness and moral character.
3. I have never participated in a previous national Miss Teen USA or Miss USA pageant.
5. I am a naturally born female and a citizen of the United States. I am a resident of Florida. The pageant is available for all Florida residents.
6. I agree that if selected to represent a local title from in the Miss Florida Teen or Miss Florida USA pageant, I will participate in the pageant & abide by all rules and regulations governing that pageant. If I win the Miss Florida Teen or Miss Florida USA pageant, then I agree to participate in the Miss Teen USA or Miss USA pageant.
8. I agree that if I win or succeed to the title of Miss Daytona Beach, Deland, Ormond Beach, Space Coast, or Volusia County USA or Teen , then I will not participate in any pageant during that time that I hold that title unless authorized in writing by Daytona Beach Beauties LLC.
9. I HEREBY RELEASE, UNCONDITIONALLY AND FOREVER, ANY CLAIM AGAINST THE MISS DAYTONA BEACH TEEN USA & MISS DAYTONA BEACH USA PAGEANTS AND AFFILIATED OR RELATED COMPANIES, WHICH I MAY HAVE, BY VIRTUE OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE LOCAL PAGEANT, ANY USE OF MY NAME, LIKENESS, VOICE, AND OR BIOGRAPHY IN CONNECTION WITH MY LOCAL, AND/OR STATE PAGEANT FOR USE IN FUTURE PROMOTION AND ADVERTISING MATERIAL FOR SAID PAGEANT.
10. I understand and agree that all issues as to eligibility shall be determined by Daytona Beach Beauties LLC and I agree to abide by that determination both as to myself and other applicants. I hereby apply for entry into the Miss Florida Teen USA or Miss Florida USA at the local level and the opportunity to compete in the state finals.
11. I understand and agree that if I am selected as a local USA or Teen USA titleholder, all decisions concerning my preparation for the state pageant are to be made by Daytona Beach Beauties LLC. I agree to abide by all the rules of the local, state, and national contest now in effect or as announced hereafter from time to time.
12. I hereby agree that the site, date, time, production, of the local, state, and national contests shall be solely within the discretion of that respective Director. The manner and method of judging will coincide with the current Miss Teen USA or Miss USA standards and the decision of the judges shall be final.
13. I understand that I am free to withdraw from the competition at any time, but under no circumstances will I be entitled to a refund or transfer to another contestant any fee, either full or part, that I or my sponsors have paid, UNLESS the pageant must be cancelled.
14. I agree that if I am selected Miss Daytona Beach, Deland, Ormond Beach, Space Coast, or Volusia County USA or Teen, my professional affairs as said winner shall be under the sole and complete management of Daytona Beach Beauties LLC and that I will not give any written or verbal endorsement of any mercantile commodity or commercial or charitable organization without obtaining specific written authority from Daytona Beach Beauties LLC.
15. I voluntarily disclose that prior to the date of this pageant, I have not engaged in any activities, which if disclosed to the public, would bring or tend to bring, myself into disrespect, ridicule or contempt.
16. Failure of winning contestant to comply with any of the terms, provisions, restrictions, or obligations hereof shall, at the option of Daytona Beach Beauties LLC, result in disqualification, loss of title and return of any and all prizes awarded, if prize cannot be returned titleholder agrees to pay Daytona Beach Beauties the value of said prize and will be held financially responsible.
18. I understand and agree that I WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED A MISS DAYTONA BEACH, DELAND, ORMOND BEACH, SPACE COAST, OR VOLUSIA COUNTY USA or TEEN UNTIL I PAY MY REGISTRATION IN FULL. I understand that once my registration fee is paid, only then will I be considered a contestant. Furthermore, I agree that it is my responsibility to pay all fees within the deadline.
17. As a contestant in the Miss Daytona Beach, Deland, Ormond Beach, Space Coast, & Volusia County USA pageant I understand that I must pay a $49 Registration Fee. I understand and agree that if in addition to my Registration fee, I will be required to sell or pay for advertisements in our local pageant program book. I understand and agree that failure to sell required advertisements will result in an immediate disqualification and I will not be permitted to compete.
